Salamandra plot

Argentina after the dictatorship. Bipolar Alba leaves prison and goes to pick up her six-year-old son Inti. She takes him to El Bolsón, in the mythical valley of Patagonia, where people of all kinds have sought refuge. There are hippies and other seekers of salvation, on the run from something or someone: from the police, the dictatorship, a nuclear war or an oppressive family situation. In that primitive, harsh world, Alba and Inti want to build their lives.
