Ripe plot

"No one stays innocent forever."

When their unconcerned parents are killed in a traffic accident, twin sisters Rosie and Violet conceive the idea of heading to Kentucky in search of a better life. Along the way, they meet Pete, a drifter who temporarily works as a groundskeeper at an abandoned army base, who promptly offers them a warm welcome. While Violet falls in love with him, Rosie becomes furious and even hostile, the bond between the sisters has changed.
