The forty-year-old priest Pitkanen considers himself a rebel, although only his ponytail and boots are somewhat different for a priest. His friends don't like the fact that he's a priest, but his wife's family thinks he's too ordinary. Then he is suddenly asked to become a bishop in Turku.
