"A comedy straight from the heart"
Bob Rueland, a successful architect in Chicago, is happily married to Elizabeth. His zestful wife is killed in a tragic traffic accident. Meanwhile, elsewhere in Chicago, Grace Biggs' friends and family are over the moon to learn that a donor heart is finally becoming available for their ailing friend. It is the heart of Elizabeth. Both Bob and Grace are going through a rough time after these traumatic experiences. Until a friend of Bob persuades him to go out to dinner with a blind date at an Italian restaurant.
