Reservations plot

On the roof of a Manhattan hotel, Helen, a flight attendant with cancer, meets the depressed actor Marc. At the same time on the ground floor, Marketa, a young Czech woman, tries to communicate with Malene, a Cuban chambermaid. 7-year-old Brendan accidentally calls a sex line and ends up talking to a lonely operator and Hallie, who has run away from home, meets a Danish businessman. As they roam the hotel, we encounter moments of pity and hope from these strangers.
