Remembrance plot

For Vanessa Fullerton, her mother's murder is a nightmare she will never forget. Serena is of Italian nobility, but when she falls in love with American soldier Colonel Brad Fullerton, she leaves everything behind to be with him. When he dies in a military action, Serena is left heartbroken and raises their daughter alone. She starts a career as a model and in the photographer Vasili she finds her new love. However, she soon discovers Vasili's great and life-threatening secret for Serena. By telling and reflecting on her mother's life story, Vanessa can finally let go of her painful past.
