A young cleric, Don Paul Salinas, returns to his hometown after training as a pastor, where he uses his influence to end a longstanding feud between two families. Because one of the daughters is in love with him, this makes him seem partial. The leaders of the two parties, Nicodemus and Constantine, use every excuse to use violence.
