Praise plot

"Loving puts your heart at risk"

Gordon, an unemployed smoking asthma patient lives in a shabby hotel among all kinds of slobs. He doesn't seem more than half alive until he meets Cynthia. She is a serious sex maniac with eczema over large parts of her chubby body. Cynthia is always having sex or looking for it. Gordon prefers to sit in front of the television and talk late into the night, taking turns sucking on a cigarette or on his inhaler. The one thing they really seem to have in common is their love for the game of Scrabble. Things go the way they do until Gordon's childhood flame arrives on the scene.
