In 2004, a series of kidnappings and murders of children takes place in Nilgiris. The suspected perpetrator is caught and executed. Fifteen years later, the case is reopened by 'Petition' Pethuraj. He is not taken seriously as he is known for reopening most trivial cases. He asks his daughter Venba to fight the case in court. There she has to face crime lawyer Rajarathanam.
