Thirty-year-old Rodrigo returns to the beautiful island of Cuyo. He grew up on an illegal Taiwanese fishing boat and is looking for Ploning, the woman he adored as a boy. Ploning always gave much maternal love to little Digo but reveled in her mysterious love for her own childhood sweetheart Tomas. In his quest, Rodrigo discovers that Ploning isn't quite the woman he always remembered.
