Phantom Beirut plot

Late 80s. Ten years ago, Khalil (Aouni Kawas) fled the Beirut war theater. His family and friends assumed he was killed in battle and they are stunned when they hear rumors of his 'ghost' returning. The reunion creates a wide range of emotions. They mourned for him as a dead man and lived on in a city at war. In search of the truth, anger, incomprehension, doubt and apathy alternate. Shortly afterwards, Khalil disappeared again.
