Archie Bollen is a man who has come to the end of his divorce troubles. He doesn't have it easy with life as a single. At a party, he meets Petulia, a cute young lady, and they soon have a passionate relationship. However, Petulia also appears to have a history, because she is married. Her husband is a spoiled rich man who can also become quite violent.
