Peremirie plot

Young Egor earns his living as a truck driver. He lives in a remote corner of the province where few matters of great importance are going on. The most striking facts are that Quasimodo, Egor's friend, undergoes an operation on his finger and that Egor's uncle visits the bank to get money for the purchase of a car. Outside, Egor waits with a gun in his hand to defend himself against potential robbers. Egor embarks on a journey to the village where he grew up and goes there in search of a bride-to-be.
