Passés Troubles plot

Former police officer Marc Lorca is involved in a car accident that resulted in the death of his wife. A common occurrence probably, but there is more to this tragedy than meets the eye. Marianne Duriez, a former colleague who was promoted to chief of police, tells Marc that the car had been tampered with. However, the motive is unknown as is the actual target. Was it an act against Marc as an ex-cop? Or was it against his wife herself, a woman with a seemingly impeccable past? As the investigation progresses, Marc realizes he knows very little about his wife's past and is even more shocked to learn that this humble wife was a member of an extremist organization.
