Pas Douce plot

A small desolate mountain village. Frederique works as a nurse at the local hospital. She is 24 years old and wants to stand on her own two feet, but she can't get along with her father and her ex-boyfriend has definitively shown her the door by starting a relationship with another girl. Driven by fate, she wants to kill herself with a shotgun, but the suicide attempt fails and an accidental passer-by is injured. Frederique's life gets a new impulse.
