"A Nation on the Crest of Change"
1989. The fight against Apartheid has reached its peak. Otelo is a 16-year-old boy who loves to surf. One day he is surfing with his brother Ntwe and their friend New Year. They are approached by Kurt, an older white man. Kurt sees a future in the boys. Otelo becomes a great surfer, but also faces setbacks.
