Marc Thomas works for an advertising agency and likes to pass for Diogenes, the Greek philosopher who dared to say to Alexander the Great: "Get out of my sun". Gradually he changes his life, abandons everything and leaves for the land of philosophy During his journey he meets Sylvie, but love scares him and he flees.
