One Fall plot

"You can't choose your destiny... It chooses you."

Set in the rustic American Midwestern town of One Fall, the story centers on a man who miraculously survives a 60-foot fall into an abyss. After his recovery, he abruptly leaves his friends and family and disappears without saying a word. The secret he couldn't share with them was that during his recovery he suddenly developed a power with which he can heal others. After a long absence, he decides to go back home and use his gift, but not disinterestedly. He will heal people for a fee. Although he may appear to be doing a good deed, he is doing it for a wrong reason with all the associated risks.
