Amar, a famous but lonely actor, lives in Mumbai, a city of 15 million people. Tara, a widow, runs a small restaurant with the help of her son and provides him daily meals. Tara has never seen Amar, except on the big screen. He doesn't know her. They talk to each other on the phone every day. One day Amar meets Tara.
