O Corno plot

María lives on the Galician island of Illa de Arousa, near the Portuguese border. When a young girl asks her to help perform an abortion of an unwanted pregnancy, the procedure goes wrong and María has to flee the country. During her journey across the Portuguese border, she is helped by several women from different backgrounds. The encounters cause her to question her ideas about motherhood and femininity.
