Nuwebe plot

Krista, nine, lives in a dysfunctional family in a cabin by the river. Her father has just been fired from another job, is depressed and an alcoholic. And he abuses her. Krista turns out to have become pregnant because of this. Her mother is in conflict with herself because she has come to love Krista's father, who once raped her as well, after which she had to marry him. Krista's father thinks he was possessed by the devil so he did what he did and her mother just hopes Krista doesn't report her father to the police.
