Nez de Cuir plot
1814, on a battlefield somewhere in France. Among the corpses lies a wounded man crying in pain. It's Roger de Tinchebraye, badly hit in the face. However, he gets help in time and is cared for by the doctor Marchall. Soon he will be healed. But he no longer has the external charm that he radiated before the war. He used to win many hearts, but now he has to wear a mask. And yet the gentleman still has success with the women.
