In the mid-'80s, the reserved Eric is a very unhappy young man. He stays in school, his family is very poor and his brothers and sisters suffer from nerves. And then he gets to know Romain. This self-assured punk has everything Eric could wish for, including a good relationship with his mother. They both adore the 'New Wave' music and they record their own music clip. But then a serious accident happens...
