"A young man travels to various regions of South Korea to scatter the ashes of his dead wife."
One day in December, a man removes the body of his wife, who has been dead for three years. He sets out on a journey to disperse the remains and arrives at a good time in the east coast town of Mul-chi. He has conversations with people he meets along the way, and the landscapes remind him of his past. He wanders around Mul-chi in pursuit of his dead wife's ghost, as if it were his destiny...
