Moonfleet plot

Moonfleet, a quiet Dorset village, mid 18th century. John Trenchard, an orphaned boy, is taken into a smuggling ring by innkeeper Elzevir Block. After a botched surgery, John and Elzevir are forced to flee from the local judge, the ruthless Sir Maskew. The two friends now become 'outlaws' and roam the country. Until they come up with the idea of looking for a precious diamond once hidden by Colonel Mohune.
