Monte plot

Long ago, Agostino, his wife Nina and son Giaovanni lived at the bottom of a mountain in a half-deserted village. The mountain prevents the sun from shining over the farmland. Agostino tries to sell his crops in the village on the other side of the mountain, but no one likes his lifeless vegetable. Then Giovanni and Nina are suddenly awakened one morning by a recurring and persistent noise. It is Agostino who tries to break down the mountain top with a pickaxe.
