Mommy Blue plot

While Máté celebrates the birth of his son, his mother Krisztina, an art teacher, gradually loses her eyesight due to a complication of diabetes. Although she prefers not to show her vulnerability, she becomes increasingly dependent on Máté, who does everything in his power to help his mother. When Máté's family is about to leave the countryside, Máté must make a choice, while Krisztina fears being left behind alone in the dark.
