Mimi plot
Paris, the mid-nineteenth century. Rodolphe is a struggling playwright in need of motivation and inspiration. He suddenly gets that when he meets Mimi, the mistress of a successful middle-aged actor who takes himself too seriously. Mimi leaves the actor for Rodolphe. She inspires them to create the works of art they were too lazy for before. Though they both achieve success, the ultimate cause of Mimi's demise draws ever closer...
