Milan Talkies plot

“Milan Talkies” is set in a small town in Uttar Pradesh in the period 2010-2013, where single screen movie houses were still prominent and loved. Annu, an aspiring film director, is in love with a young girl, Maithali, who belongs to a strict religious family. Social prejudices prevent them from communicating easily, which is why movies become a means of bringing them together.
