Mes plot

Turkey in the 1980s. Cengo, who lives in poverty, grows up in the Kurdish city of Nuseybin. To survive, the 12-year-old first sells chewing gum on the corner of the street. When he meets the slightly confused and mute Xelilo, a close friendship develops. Xelilo lives in an abandoned and dilapidated shop. If the Turkish military takes control of the city and imposes a curfew on the population, both must learn to deal with the new circumstances.
