Mein Bruder, der Idiot plot

The pianist Julian (Martin Feifel) has to take care of his younger brother Jakob (Michael Wittsack) after the death of his mother. Jacob has Down syndrome. After a difficult start, the two slowly but surely understand each other. The likeable Jakob has an intrinsic sense of what is right for the people he loves. After a while Julian wonders which of the two brothers really is the 'idiot'.
