Masterless plot

"No one can serve two masters."

Kane Madison is an architect working in Los Angeles. His doppelganger-like ghost is an eighteenth-century Ronin, wandering in a parallel underworld that is home to masked demons and Japanese fencers. After a tragedy, Kane embarks on a journey of faith that prompts the Ronin to search for his true master in the spirit world.
