Männer wie Wir plot

Ecki lives in the small village of Boldrup. He is a goalkeeper for the local football team. If he is given a penalty in the last minute by an opponent's schwalbe and his teammates accidentally find out that he is gay, he will be kicked out of the team. Looking for revenge, Ecki makes a bet with his old teammates. Ecki has four weeks to put together an all-gay team to play against his old team. In search of new teammates, he travels to Düsseldorf, where his sister lives.
