Manipulation plot
Matteo was, as it were, born into a secret society that, operating from the shadows, not only holds the strings of the world but also pulls them. Now Matteo must climb the hierarchy. In this context, he is tasked with tracking down his own father, who appears to be of some importance to the society. However, in doing so, Matteo becomes entangled between the fronts of powerful institutions and witnesses horrific things. Slowly but surely—partly thanks to outside help—it dawns on him what radical organization he is actually a part of.
