Makarov plot

Besides the main character, a poet who suffers from writer's block, Makarov is also the name of a gun that he buys with the ten thousand rubles he earned with his last book. Coincidentally, the weapon is presented to him just as he has collected the money. Finally, the poet no longer feels safe under the increasing crime in Moscow. The question is whether Russia needs more weapons or more poetry.
