"THEY CALL THEM LUCKY DEVILS IF THEY LIVE!"
Skipper Clark and Bob Hughes are part of a group of stuntmen who call themselves the 'Lucky Devils'. Their unwritten rule that stuntmen and marriage don't mix becomes reality when a co-worker dies in a relatively easy stunt. This Slugger Jones, due to the concerns of his wife-to-be, was not completely on the alert. When the actress Fran comes on the scene, Skipper advises Bob not to get involved with her because of the consequences. When Fran admits her feelings to Skipper, Skipper relents and breaks his own rule.
