Lovers plot

We follow the budding love between Dragan, a 25-year-old painter from Yugoslavia, and Jeanne, an equally old Parisienne: their meeting, their first night, their happiness. When an identity check reveals that Dragan is illegally staying in France, their love is in jeopardy. Dragan must leave the country within three days. However, Dragan and Jeanne decide to evade the law and stay together. For this he has to go into hiding. This situation strengthens their love and they learn a special freedom when they are together. But their luck ends when the police track down Dragan.
