Les Suspects plot

We follow the young teacher, inventor and idealist Mahfoud in 80s Algiers. He falls in love with the beautiful non-conformist psychiatrist Samia, who takes care of her patient M'nouar. It is still haunted by the war of independence. In a climate of increasing intimidation, free-spirited and critical people like Mahfoud and Samia are at risk. Where no one is who they claim to be, power is the motivation and paranoia is the reality.
