Le Pendu plot

In this film, the two cousins Suzanne (Reymond) and Alma (Blanc), who have never met, inherit a house on an island. The will stipulates that they must either sell it or both live there. Unable to decide immediately, they opt for the second option, unaware that the 18th-century ghost of an ancestor hanged for smuggling makes regular visits.
