Le Grand Jeu plot

The endearing lawyer Nicolas (Georges Pitoëff) becomes involved in a scandal over a woman and signs for the Foreign Legion. There he meets the prostitute Blanche (Françoise Rosay), who looks exactly like his ex-lover and whose assailant he kills. He lets her start a new life in Europe and seeks his own penance as a legionnaire.
