Le Dernier Mot plot

In September 1989, the Hungarian government decides to grant the refugees from East Germany passage to the West. Maria (Maria Schell) goes to Paris. Her daughter lives there, whom she has not seen for 15 years. All this time they were separated by the Berlin Wall. That wall has now been demolished. But perhaps a wall has been erected between the two women because of the long separation.
