Le Bled plot

On a ship en route to Algiers, a meeting takes place between the young man Pierre Hoffer (Enrique Rivero) and the young woman Claudie Duvernet (Jackie Monnier). Arriving in Algiers, Pierre is received by his uncle, the wealthy landowner Christian (Alexandre Arquillière), and is offered a job. Meanwhile, Claudie and her cousins Manuel and Diane have an argument over an inheritance. When Pierre falls in love with Claudie, he becomes involved in the conflict.
