Lapü plot

Doris' dead cousin appears to her in a dream. They have shared a lot. The dream prompts her to begin the main ritual of the Wayuu, an indigenous group living in the Guajira desert in Colombia. To ensure that her cousin can rest in peace, Doris must exhume and clean the deceased's bones before burying them a second time. With the support of her mother and grandmother, she comes into contact with the dead and their world.
