Lana's Rain plot

Lana and her brother Darko try to build a new life in America, as their current life in the war-ravaged Balkan region is far from ideal. However, Lana barely speaks English and puts all her hopes on Darko, who has made many enemies due to his reputation as a gangster. All Lana's hopes for a good life are dashed when the harsh realities of life on the streets of Chicago become reality. She is drawn deeper and deeper into her brother's criminal environment and will have to risk her life to ever get out of it.
