Lali plot

“Lali” follows the lives of Zeba and Sajawal, a couple who both carry wounds that simply refuse to heal, and whose union seems less like a choice than fate. Sajawal has a distinctive birthmark that makes him insecure and distrustful, and he enters the relationship with anxieties about masculinity and self-worth. Meanwhile, Zeba carries the stigma of adversity: although she was engaged three times in the past, all three of her fiancés died before their weddings could take place.
