La Vocation d'André Carel plot

Rich André Carel is sent to Switzerland by his father with his teacher. There he falls in love with Reine Lugrin, daughter of a poor skipper. André gets a job on Reine's father's boat. He takes over the job from Cerdan, who also has a crush on Reine. Cerdan was fired for spying on Reine while she was taking a bath. However, he does not accept André taking his place.
