La Note Bleue plot
Nohant, Summer 1846. George Sand and his children prepare a feast. Mauritius is an amateur puppeteer. Solange becomes a life-conscious adolescent and is jealous of her mother's tempestuous relationship with Frédéric Chopin, who is seriously ill and whose music reverberates throughout the house. The guests are famous: the painter Eugène Delacroix, the critic Louis Viardot and his wife Pauline, professional singer, Adalbert and Laure, Polish friends of Chopin, who instill in him the nostalgia of his homeland. The confidential conversations, the settlements, the sun and the storm follow one another. George catches Frédéric with Solange.
