La Maison du Pêcheur plot

In the summer of 1969, Bernard Lortie, the son of a fisherman from Gaspé, arrived in Percé in search of work. He meets Paul, Jacques and Francis, all Quebecois separatists, who have opened the “Fisherman's House”. With this they aim to give young men shelter and to win them over for their business during their stay. Bernard is enlisted and becomes increasingly involved in the plans of the three. The authorities are less enamored with their actions and the group registers with the Front de Libération du Québec (FLQ) and plays a role in the October crisis.
