La Lumière du Lac plot

A cornered apprentice con artist and gigolo takes refuge with a writer who lives in a remote mountain village near a lake. Everything seems to be against them, but they get to know love. The villagers do not allow the young man's presence and oppose this union until a drama takes place, to which the symbolic title refers: like a stone thrown into the calm water of a lake.
