You don't need to see this movie for the story. Refers to the labor unrest in Italy in the sixties and seventies. It starts with a strike, with Romy Schneider as strike leader. But the film doesn't even make it clear exactly what the strike is for. The strike leader has an affair with her boss, the director of the factory against whom there is a strike. Then there are quite a few side lines that are also not very clear. No, of course you watch this film for Romy Schneider, then at her best, and with little work in France. So she had to tackle everything, including this one, in which she could hardly use her acting talent and was outshone by 'old hand' Ugo Tognazzi. But oh, how beautiful she was...
